This research work the role of public relations in the management of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNCP) Headquarter, Abuja was conducted using the survey method. This involves using questionnaire for collecting of information. Chi-square methods were used in testing the hypothesis. The findings from the test of hypothesis one (1) shows that: public relations practice has significant impact on image building in NNPC Headquarters, Abuja and the findings from the test of hypothesis two (II) shows that public relations practice improves NNPC revenue. The researcher through this work also found out that it is only through effective communication that the organization’s public relations achieve its goal of which is to establish and encourage a good relationship between an organization and its various publics. Having confirmed from the analysis so far that public relations has a significant impact on image building in most establishments, it is pertinent for the management of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, Headquarters, Abuja and other establishments of its kind and this calls for effective communication in public relations practice.
