The media has been a tool for influencing the consumer choice of product in a competitive market by informing, enlightening and persuading the target audience on a particular product through the means of advertising. Nigeria is a developing nation in all aspects, politically, economically, technologically and otherwise. Therefore, citizen should concentrate on how to create revenue for the nation and also bring about employment and advertising is one means of achieving both purposes. Thus, the need for the researcher to embark on the research titled, “The Effect of Coca Cola Television Advertising on Residence of Ojo Local Government of Lagos State” with reference to Nigerian breweries Plc products, because they have efficiently used the benefits of advertising to their success. The researcher made used of the most efficient and effective method of sourcing for information from sources relevant to the study. Questionnaires were distributed as on the valid instruments used for gathering information. Respondents were selected randomly and hypotheses were tested using the simple percentage and Chi-square formula and reached a definite conclusion. The results reflect the effects of advertising on the consumers of coca cola drinks. Recommendations and conclusions were made based on the findings of the research.
