This project was carried out with the aim of assessing the affect the media campaign to control HIV/AIDS in Nigeria. Port Harcourt Urban was use as our case study while survey research method was used. We collected data which as from textbooks, magazines, lectures from seminar, Newspapers, conferences while our primary data is from survey that is questionnaire. This project is made up of five chapters, our population is people from port Harcourt urban from the age of 16-46 and above and our population is 464514 from which we got our sample size which is 156.This sample size was gotten from so many method.156 questionnaires were distributed to our sample but 140 were used for the analysis because four were wrongly filled while 10 missed the transit. The hypothesis was tested and the result showed that 3 tested positive while 2 is negative the summary of the result is that most people have headed HIV/AIDS and see it as genuine threat to Nigeria that mass media messages does not reach the general public as supposed to therefore has not change the sexual behaviour of Nigerians because number of HIV/AIDS patient keeps increasing every day. And recommendations were made at the last chapter.
