This study investigated roles of age, gender and self-efficacy of vocational workers on anxiety manifestation. A total number of 141 subjects were drawn from 5 states: Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States of South-East Geo-political zone. State and

Catholic vocational workers with high self-efficacy (HSE=43.425) experienced state anxiety more than those with low self-efficacy (LSE= 41.180). The female vocational workers were found to be significantly high in trait anxiety (FTA= 61.943) than male

(MTA= 55.234). However, self-efficacy was not significant. Conversely, there was a significant first interaction of age, gender and self-efficacy on state anxiety. The findings were discussed and recommendations were made.
