Abstract
This project was carried out with an objective to create a design that will make air-cargo handling easier and more flexible, by applying the use of Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID). The motivation to carry out the project came about due to the fact that there has been much misconduct and mismanagement of information in handling air-cargo, where as proper packaging, transfer and documentation of goods should be well accounted for in the sector. The method employed in this project, was the use of an RFID system, and designed using a Microsoft program known as Visual Basic 6.0, which is used for writing object oriented applications. The result obtained, was an accurate estimation of a well documented air cargo transaction, recorded and outputted.
