This work is to show how the payroll system can handle problem of inaccuracy in employees’ salary due to inefficiency of the manual method of calculating payroll. This problem of inaccuracy and inconsistency gave rise to the need to develop a system that will meet the expectations of employee in regards to their net pay.
The system will be of immense importance for the organization and mostly used by the bursary department to help calculate and curtail unnecessary expenditure of funds. The system gives the accurate net pay which comprises of deductions, allowances, bonuses, incentives e.t.c and clears doubt from the mind of employees whether they are being cheated or not. It also provides security and integrity of payroll data and information. The computerized payroll system offers faster and less-resource-consuming generation of general payroll and other payroll related reports.
